Dear Sir, As-salam-alaikum Gone through the maiden attempt done by making the website of Kairana. Please accept my heariest congratulations for this effort. But I will make some suggestions. 1. You must add a brief biography of our noted theologist Maulana Waheeduzzaman Kairanvi, noted poet of Pakistan Aashiq Kairanvi, Prof. Tanvir Sahab and Master Tausif sahab. 2. You have not mentioned anything about Prof. (late) Zaheer Hasan Siddiqui, Urdu Professor of Meerut University, Mr.(Late) Akram Siddiqui, Ex-Principal City School, Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh and above all Mr. Aslam Siddiqui who is a living legend of Pakistan. He was the Managing Director of National Bank of Pakistan and then founded the Bank of Commerce and Credit International (BCCI), which became the world's 14th largest Bank in 1986. Mr. Aslam Siddiqui also have written his autobiography entitled "The Life and Times of a Pakistani Citizen" published by Ferozsons Pvt Ltd Lahore in year 2001. In this book he has given an impressive account of Kairana during his childhood days. Mr. Aashiq Kairanvi has also given his memories abour Kairana in many of his published books. Dear Umar, First of all I must congraulate you on the excellent work you have done on creating the website on Kairana. I belong to Village Simbhalka, near Shamli and presently live in UK. Often I raised the issue of missing history of our towns and villages which are so rich. With time we seems to have lost a lot of our history.. Next logical step would be that we make some strong organisation to preserve our reginal history. Through this organisation we raise money and also approach government to preserve some of these very important historical sites. I will be very happy to be part of any such organisation. I will be visiting India during October and will be more than happy to sit with some of you and move further in that direction. May be we need similar information on other important towns like Shamli, Budhana, Jinjhana etc. We need to get public involved into our efforts..May be we bring back some glory of past to our twons. Just to let you know that I have also launched the construction of a cancer hospital near Balwa gate on Delhi- Saharanpur Road. I am ver keen to develop Shamli Kairana area and bring it on the educational map of India. Joining hands with like minded people like you will be be of immense help.

1. Thank you Umar Bhai. Let us create a Trust which will mobilise resources for the maintainence of important historical sites of that regin. Think of some suitable name for this trust. As you know, organisations like Agha Khan trust etc give grants for the resoration of important islamic sites. I am sure we can convice them to help us restore the Talab at least.

2. If we can locate some place near Talab which is covered, we can think of creating a small museum on the history of Kairana.

3. Let us plan a function some times during 2006 when we can put our thoughts in front of public and seek their support for our work. I will help you in this..

Umar saheb You do really good.,i open the site daily, this is so nice,today i read all the compliments,they r remarkable. although u r doing best yurself,but as you want some more suggessions,so i will say,that first off all you should change its home page.at the homepage there should be only links .and one or two photos only.beside this add the pages for kairana collages and cinema also.thats it.

One thing more i noted that there is no any direct link to send the compliment .we have to email u for that.for this you can create a link"click here for yur compliment" and attach that link with yur email id.

You have created a great sense of nostalgia through this site. Though I do not belong to Kairana, nor have ever been there , but visiting through it I really felt that I am walking through my memory lanes, wandering in my mohallas, chowks, cinema houses, roads full of peole and rickshaws,those tea stalls where we would talk about anything endlessly regularly, meeting my friends, pokhars, river bridges, trees, minars of masjids and so son. I was in Kairana at this site but my heart was touring through Saharanpur where I belong to, and smelling the fragrance of the soil of Sikandrabad (Distt Buland Shahar UP) where I born.

This type of sites can preserve our roots for ever and for every one.You have shown the way to those who now live with all types of facilities in mega cities mentally, but long to live once again their rural/countryside child hood at their heart. Content is very interesting and full of knowledge. You have covered all aspects of our Qasbati Zindagi. Kudos to you , your Web Ustad Kashif ul Huda Saheb, your collaborators and friends.
